Mission of the Hong Kong Public
Doctors' Association
To act as a representative body of all members working in
the
Hospital Authority, the Government, the Faculty of Medicine
of the
University of Hong Kong, and the Faulty of Medicine of
the Chinese
University of Hong Kong
To regulate relationship between the members and their employers,
and between the members and any statutory bodies concerned
with medical
and dental service in Hong Kong
To promote and improve the standard of medical and health
services
in Hong Kong
To support and protect the status and interest of the medical
profession in Hong Kong
To consider all matters affecting the general interest of
the
medical profession and in particular the interest of
its members, and to
represent such members whether by way of negotiation,
correspondence,
petition or otherwise and to procure changes of rules,
regulations and
law or practice
To engage in any activities in conjunction with other bodies
or
associations, within the limits of the Association's
objects and to
arrange reciprocal concessions and co-operation with
other such bodies
or associations
To co-ordinate the activities and promote co-operation among
all
members
To ascertain fair terms and conditions of service of its
members
